13 years ago I started working for a large electronics retailer as an electronics tech, I would go from store to store and repair there P.O.S. terminals, alarms, phones, displays, etc.. Three years ago they sold my entire department to another company.. Still did the same job just had on a different shirt. Well 2 weeks ago we were informed that we had be sold to another company. This was the first week with the new company, It is apparent that they have no idea what we do!! They are insisting that everything will work the way they want, but isn't and can't. The procedures they want us to follow will not work with the systems we support. This has been the most stressfull week since I started in this line of work, Ive had 5 10-12 hour days due to the way they want us to operate. The corporate mentality just drives me insane -- Basically we've been doing everything wrong for 13 years!!!!!!!!!!! I think its time to start looking for a new job. Any want to pay may to watch tv and summerize what I saw, or pay me to break in your couch???????

Got that part covered, I'll look around and see if there's any other place for you in my vast enterprise.:D Play the game, follow the rules. Just because you've been doing the job for years doesn't mean you know s***. They always have better plan, no matter how stupid it is all you can do is follow the rules. Don't worry about how dumb it is, don't worry about making or losing money at it. Just do the job the way they want, make sure you wear a smile, then go home and relax.
