Depends on what you want to do with the tool and what tools you already have. I wasn't familiar with this tool so I did a search on the internet. It looks like an improved oxy/acetelyne torch. By the time you buy the regulators and tanks, you will have around $1000 in the setup. If you are going to do a lot of sheet metal or thin wall tubing work, it will probably work well for you. If you are going to do general bodywork and some thicker material welding, I would think a good MIG welder would be a better choice.
Cheers

A buddy of mine bought one at the swap meet last weekend.

We were wondering if it was any good or was the guy just making it look easy, so my friend ask to try it himself.

He was welding and cutting great in no time at all!

Comes with a video and some attachments, I bought one at a swap meet from the same guys I suppose and have not had a chance to use it yet, but getting closer. Sure looks easy and very prrecise is why I bought it and also I am a tool freak anyway. I thought I was collecting cars for a hobby and found out I was really collecting tools and didn't know it LOL
