Hey Guys, Is this just drag racing or is there a car show that we can put our cars in ? I know Bill's not going to race his car :D.

I'll be there on Sunday for the show. If nice weather, the Chevelle. If any chance of rain, I'll drive the 442. Either way I'm going and taking my daughter. It's been 9 years since her first drag race event and she still loves them!

Take a kid to a car show!

I'm even taking her nerdy 16 year old boyfriend to see if there may be some hope to convert him to a car guy. It's a real shame since his grandfather builds hot rods from scratch! :D

No problem Tom,

I'm almost hoping for a chance of rain so I HAVE TO drive the 442. It'll be neat to see a fe Chevelle guys with their other "mistress".

Hey Tom,

If I didn't have that damn high pitched (sounded like a slipping fan belt) sound coming from my trans in OH I would drive the Chevelle. No slipping but my speedo did stop working.

106 miles on the trans. Whooda thought it couldn't take that slight beating :D I gave in on the cruise?

After it cooled down at Quaker (no food) Steak it went away.

E town is about 35 miles from me. Depending on my mood I still may go for it and drive along side Rich R.

I will see you there!

Meeting at Rich R's house at 7:00am. Now that I know what happened with my trans, I might actually drive the Chevelle.

the clip that holds the drive gear for the speedo broke. i fished it out and put it back together until I can bring it to the trans shop to get it fixed under warranty.

Jim Brady knows the guy. Only 106 miles on the trans in 2 years!

Who needs a speedo anyhow!
