I have a quick question.
I am using the 2 ports on the Merling manifold for the Water temp gauge thermostat, and the heater hose. It has bosses in the back to drill another hole, but I would like to avoid that.

Can I use the hole on the top of the water pump (have it plugged for now) to run the electric fan thermostat from?

If not, where else can I run the thermostat to?

Also, how much current do these guys draw at startup and under normal operation?

Thanks for your help.

There should be a port on the side of the head and you can purchase a water neck with a threaded port. Where did you get your Thermostat switches? Part numbers?

The wiring kit is from Painless wiring, basically it has relay, and the thermostat and some wiring.
The port on the side of the head might be a good idea though.
Thank you.
