Just purchased my 1969 Chevelle SS 396. Third owner, it's a CA car and it's an original Hugger Orange (paint code 72)...Yea for me!! Second owner had no clue what a build sheet or Protecto Plate was. Gonna start looking for the build sheet starting in the back seats...OK I'm a girl... and need suggestions how to get the upright portion of the back seat out...any tricks to it?
Thanks

At the bottom outside corners are two metal tabs that have to be bent straight. They come through slots in the seat back frame and bent over. Farther inboard are two bolts. You might have to get your head down there to see them. Once the bolts are out, the seat back just lifts up off the two hooks that it hangs on. The armrests have to go too. Two screws in each.
