I have the UMI Non-adjustable control arm kit, I just attempted the install and have an issue! The lower UMI arms are 4 inches shorter (hole center to hole center) the factory. After install the pinyon angle is -6 degrees, and i think the rear end has moved about an inch closer to the front of the wheel opening. With the car on the lift the tires allomst touch the front of the wheel opening. This is on a 67 Chevelle convertible. Any advice, do i have a problem, are the lower arms to short?

I just ordered new lowers from UMI. I was told that they alter nothing, true bolt in leaving all geometry as is. And i did ask about it on here prior to ordering. That said I agree with kory you must of had wrong part shipped.

Good morning and sorry for the trouble.

Your arms should be 22" center to center. If they're G-body or F-body arms, they'll be 19-1/4" C to C and of course we'll take care of that immediately.

Just emailed and spoke to Ramey at UMI, great customer service!! I do have the wrong part but they are shiping ASAP the correct part!!!! If you have any question on where to get your suspension parts I would recommend UMI! A small bump in the road but was quickly taken care of!! Thank you ramey.
