Has anyone ever pulled the back seat out of a 1970 Chevelle SS? I am trying to look for my build sheet. Also, there are no seat belts showing in the back seat, so I figured lifting the seat might bring them out.
I've had the back seats out of my Chevelles 10 million times running car stereo wires. They are a real pain to get out at first. What I usually do is to take a large, flathead screwdriver, and push against the part of the seat frame hooked in the bracket on each side. (It's a funky Z lookin bracket, look under the seat with a flashlight and you'll know what i mean). You need to push it back about an inch, then lift it upwards a little, then let it spring out. You'll need to do this with each of the two brackets that hold it in. Don't just pry up on the seat frame, all it will do is make your life miserable.
