I listed some parts on Craigslist and got this e-mail after returning one saying I still had the stuff 2 hours after I posted the ad:

Hello,thank you for the prompt response to my enquiry am very muchsatisfied with the condition and price of the item and i would like tomake an outright purchase immediately so i will advice that youwithdraw the advert from the web.Pls i will like to know how youintend to procedure on this okay but i would prefer that i issue acertified cheque or money order in us dollars to you location afterwhich my shipper will be coming over for the pick up once you havegotten that.I read through the advert and am okay with it so please iwill need both you name and address to post the payment and wouldappreciate you include you cell phone#,regards

Is this a scam?

Jimmy The good Lord only gives you so many days on this Earth and so much air to breathe while you are here. Any amount of either spent responding is pure waste.

What gets me, is some folks might fall for it, IF it were written better with ankling of intelligence.

Its always this exact wording in those scams...

Got another one today!

Hello,I really appreciate your response to my previous mail. I'll like tobuy this item, pls do me a favor of taking down the ad from CL so asto be rest assured that I'm in hold of the item, anyways I don't havetime to come have a look cause of my Job transfer and shortness oftime but you don't need to bother yourself with the shipment, I'lltake care of that by engaging the services of a mover, hence I'll besending a check and it will be delivered via United Parcel Service, soi'll need you to provide me with the following information tofacilitate the mailing of the check. 1.Your full name2.Your mailing address be it residential or postal address3.Your cellphone number.4.Final Price I'll have my mover come over for the pick up as soon as you havecashed the check.N.B UPS does not deliver to a P.O box addresses.. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Even if its not a scam. Its not worth dealing with someone with typing and spelling like that. I have seen young kids do much better then that.

Scam!i Had A Similar Thing Happen To Me.had Some Intrior For Sale In The Free Classifieds Here At Team Chevelle.guy Said His Name Was Reverend Cody Nelson.sent Me The Postal Money Orders Totalling $2550,i Only Wanted $400.i Burnt Them.
