my problem is wierd,i have it powered up as they say in the
instructions to 12V which is the fuse box,and i also have them
grounded to the under dash which is metal and the white to the
lights, now when i turn the car on and start it the oil pressure will
not work at all,so i shut the car off and i apply a test light to the
fuse where im getting the power for the gauges and start the car with
the test light on the fuse and it works fine, what is the problem?

You are putting the test light on the fuse?

Are you putting one test light lead on one side of the fuse and the other test light lead on the other side of the fuse?

If that's what you are doing, clean up the fuse clips and install a new fuse. Try it again without the test light attached.
