Hello Everyone,
I am building a 421 sbc and I have these aluminum heads but I need help to identify these heads. I am not even sure if these heads will support 500-550hp. The only information on the heads are the DART insignia, I-036-A, 2.08 intake valve, Manley (42355) push rod guides and screw in studs. I believe they maybe DART 220cc but I am not sure.
Any information on a 500-550 sbc combos are welcomed.
Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tee

Try emailing Dart. I had a set and contacted them and they were able to provide all the info I needed ( intake runner size, chamber cc, and flow figures ). They can only tell you how they left their factory.
Thanks Nitrofox, they heads also have 7/16 screw in studs like a BBC. My regular lunati rocker arms won't fit.

I am going to make a wild guess. The I-036 number looks like a designation that world products uses on their heads. I am going to guess they are EARLY Sportsman II heads when world and Dart were working together. So 200 cc heads.

Just going off general appearance of the shape of various parts of the casting, it looks to be at least 25 years old.

I think bigger than 200cc, due to the eyebrow bosses betwen the exhaust ports on the exhaust side that are there for alcohol injection down nozzles
