I just bought me a 72 chevelle...its got the D in the vin so it came with the worst motor possible...Its my new project and its going to be my personal car but I am going to do a SS build as close as possible.

As in 1D37D...? Is the "D" in the 2nd position or the 5th position? The 2nd position is the series (Malibu) while the 5th position is the engine size.
