When you look up the HEI distributors in the catalogs. Im talking the basic HEI, accel, msd, mallory. Non of them lists the mechanical advance that comes in the distributor. I emailed MSD and was told on the streetfire, they come with 20*. I was wondering if anyone might know what the other manufactures have they're dialed into theyre dist.? thanks jim

hi Jim;
i think the Mallory units come with 24* and this can be changed to less for your needs.
they show this in their web site in the tech/manual section, you will need to know the model#

I think the Summit HEI's come with 18* mechanical.
