Im building my new motor and trying to figure out whats the best setup for the price as far as a hei/msd. My other chevelle has a delco-remy hei and a msd 6a. Imnot looking to spend a fortune so what are the cheaper hei's like? (summit). Do i need a certain hei so i can just plug it in the msd?

Not a MSD expert but maybe download MSDs instalation instructions and see what the set-ups look like. Can find one here for the MSD-6 and others under downloads. They should have some tech support available also.
