Do the shorty headers hook-up to the exhaust at the same place that the stock manifolds due. Just curious if i replace my manifolds with these headers will I need to have my exhaust re-worked or should they bolt right up.

I decided to go with shorty's as the fulllength see to sometime hang to low and would require a definite exhaust re-work.

Anyone have any experience with these headers regarding fitand performance?

I was thinking about the same ones but was told that they do not bolt up to the stock exhaust & that big blocks like the full long tube headers & you will see little benifit from the 'shorties'.

I'm gonna go with the long tube Hedman's.

I been reading here where the shorty's are not much better than the stock manifolds, but they have to be somewhat better but then again....... Although from reading, it looks like they may reduce low end power which will remove them from my upgrade list as I don't want that!

I have no issue with long tubes other than having to redue my exhaust, which i just completed (prior to my revelation that in needed headers:D) and none seem to fit properly, tuck up properly or make oil changes and spark plug access a pain.

Always has to be an issue:noway:
