I am wondering if anyone could tell me where I can get the nuts that hold in the headlight assembly for a 72 chevelle? The headlights were removed (not by me) when the car was primered and were not reattached when the I got the car back.

Ok let me rephrase the question what attaches the headlight assembly to the fender. Its a nut of some kind that screws down on the studs coming out of the headlight assembly. Its not regular coarse thread nut.

it is a plastic nut that snaps into the core support. you can get them in the Help! bubble packs on the rack at most auto-part stores.
