Ever since I installed my original steering wheel, my battery drains completely. The only thing I could think of was when I did this, there was a single loose black wire running up near the steering wheel itself. I taped the wire off in case it was hot. Now the only function I could think this wire would have is for the horn button. Am I wrong? And if it is for the horn, if I ground it the horn should sound, right? That is if the horn in my car is still there. I haven't even checked that yet. Thanks for all the help guys!

The wire is for the horn. It shouldn't drain the battery.
To find the battery drain:
Try disconnecting the negative battery cable. Put a test light between the battery post and the negative battery cable. The light should not come on. If it does, try disconnecting the alternator to see if it goes out. If it doesn't try pulling fuses until the light goes out.
