I just bought a '70 Chevelle...

Nice body, some minor dings and dents, but very solid. Some rust (a few pinholes) in the lower corner of the rear window (Just one side), POR15'd. I looked up inside the trunk, and it all looks solid from underneath.

Older paint, but no bubbles. Looks to be a good solid car. Looks good from 10+ feet, closer and you see the chips, etc. Primer along the rear 2 feet of the quarter panel (dent professionally repaired)... Rockers, wheel wells, etc all look great. NO vinyl top ever!

Glass is okay (new driver door glass on order).

Interior: Stock Malibu sweep dash, bench seat, column shifted automatic. Dash pad has a crack at the drivers speaker, and dash vents need replacing, dash needs detailing. Door panels are "okay"... Seats, carpet and headliner are in nice shape...

Has working A/C...

nice pumped Small block, TH400 auto, "posi" rearend, rebuilt suspension with aftermarket rear arms and Sport lowering springs all around, Flowmaster exhaust, rebuilt disc brakes on the front, aftermarket 17" wheels...

Whats a good price?

are you having buyers remose Tony? I think that with the extra parts you got in the deal and if you paid around what you told me before then you got a pretty good deal. That motor wasn`t cheap and either were the upgrades. Now if it was grannies old malibu with a 307 or 350 then probably about $7500 maybe. You could always sell of some of the extra parts if you want to recoupe some money.

No real buyers remorse Anthony (worst thing is the gas mileage)... Just kind of excited and wanting to share... And sometimes its nice to have others remind me that it was a pretty good deal... Even though it didn't cost that much, its still the most expensive "old car" I have ever bought...
