Wyoming just introduced a bill to ban evs by 2035. Fair warning to new buyers, charging stations, get rid of the one you have, etc.
Who is going to cover the costs of revamping recycling stations and junk yards?
They are dropping in value fast now, what will they be worth in 5-10 years and what will be the owners cost to take it to a recycler?
They will end up sitting in yards.
I am not against them, just do not want them forced on us at a cost too much for most to bear.
Some will have to take out an 84-120 month note. 10 years to pay for a car they make you buy.

Rick
That bill won’t pass in Wyoming. Just came out with it to counter Cali Ice ban as statement.

By pushing for EVs too soon, the Green Movement will turn off many to its ideas....most of which are based in fantasy and not science. Real science that is.
GM is smart for not putting all of their eggs in one basket.
Look....the infrastructure isn't there yet.
And if you can't figure out part of this will be driven by "control the electricity, control the people"....you're not very bright.
Look I love my v8’s but there’s not to many of us left. How many v8 cars are out there? The rest of the crowd of V6 and 4’s will be happy to switch as soon as the goverment offers incentives.

The banning sale of gas vehicles in 2030 is going to lead to 100% modern slavery.
Impossible for inner city minorities to not only afford one (90% are the $1000-$10000 car market) but… try changing when you live in an apartment complex.

Better yet millions of multi family city homes with a 60 amp panel for your part of the house that won’t support a charger and your landlord won’t pay to upgrade. Parking for their cars 3-10 houses down from their home nowhere near a possible charger with 100 cars bumper to bumper on their street. No way to run a cord over a side walk. Charge times that can take DAYS. Plus the lines going down the street can’t carry the power for 1/4 of the houses to add chargers and not enough available power from the grid to feed 1/4 of those city streets.

Don’t have a heated garage and it’s below 32 like 99.999% of the inner city? Power diverts to heating the battery. There are actually reports of plugging in a 1/2 charged car to a home chargers heating the battery for 2 weeks and coming back to a zero charged car with BIG charging bill!

The way i see it is well deserved due to either voting for this or too lazy to vote period. But hey we are always reminded they are too stupid to figure out how to get a free ID to vote.

You will be able to identify the sub class by their dirty gas beaters or riding the electric bus in a few years 🤣

Don't be so sure about that.
Note how seemingly every recent natural disaster is exposing flaws in the EV Utopia that many are painting.
I thought that EVs were great when they were an option.
As the only choice, I find them lacking.....and don't want any part of them......yet.

It’s just a big pipe dream that will never work, maybe it will work in about 50 years ???

yeah, they''ll all be scrapped when Cummins et al get hydrogen fuel sorted. EV makes tons of sense for short haul fleets tho, including ambulances.

It's going to be a ton of fun, when taxes, fees and electricity prices adjust to all this EV stuff.
In the news here today, the reports say that the EV's are costly to recharge, more than ICE vehicles for dinojuice!!
