Anybody used this stuff and did it help? One of my hips was really hurting me before I started walking again a few months ago. The walking has helped a lot and it feels pretty good, but I can still feel a twinge there. I'd like to get it back to normal if glucosamine/chondroitin will help.

Success stories, failures? Let me have it. :)

Thanks!

I've had surgery on both knees, one in 08 one in 09. My Doc recommended it and I've been taking it ever since. It take a while (few wks to few months) to notice an improvement.
So, does it help? It has helped me.

I've been taking it for about 5 years now. I started when I was having elbow pain that I had for about 6 months. I started taking it and the pain was gone in 2 weeks and has never come back. I take it with all the rest of my supplements daily now.

It works wonders on my dog. He's had both CCL's (like our ACL's in our knees) done and limps bad when I quit giving it to him. It's worth a try. It might take a couple weeks to work like others have said.

Started taking it 2 years ago for my shoulder, pain is completely gone. Dr. told me that it usually helps 60% of people significantly. Can't hurt to try it.

Dave, got to throw this out there. I'm a big guy. Not really fat, just big. 6'7" and a tick over 335 right now. A very athletic guy as long a I had an ashtray, but size has given me bad joints. Arthritic since I was 29. Lots of football injuries and quite a few bad car accidents. Been on the glucosamine bandwagon for a couple three years and it does help. Knees and shoulders have showed the best improvement. Wife also has me on oil of fish. No clue what that does but she thinks I need it.

Give it a try, can't hurt, and there are no known side affects.

Works great.

I crashed my street bike at 95mph @ Buttonwillow race track. All my jonts were shot after this... the biggest thing to help me was Super Cissus. Stuff is amazing, I also took Glucosamine, chronroitin, msm.

I tried it for years with no noticeable improvement in knee pain (12+ surgeries).

Synvisc Injections work very well, last about a year.

However the thing that finally took the pain away was a knee replacement. I should have had it done at 40 years old instead of near 50, I lost a large amount of range of motion by waiting to long.

I have had one hip replacement at 46 due to an old hockey injury. I take it as advised by my GP and surgeon. Once the damage is done, I don't think it will repair anything but may prevent other joints from developing arthritis. Does not hurt to try.

Tried it yrs ago for a hip problem no dice. Maybe give it another shot and watch the blood sugar.

Best thing I ever used was Vioxx and its gone. Extreme bursitis that would lock my hip up for wks that stuff was magic.

Ibuprofen 800 works wonders but cant take it forever.

I find Naproxen Sodium to be the best anti-inflammatory nsaid painkiller since it lasts 12 hours. 2 220 mg doses ever 12 hours works well for me.

I tried "Move Free" which contains G & C, and over a short period of time my feet started hurting like they had cramping in them, well I decided to read the label which say's it contains shell fish products, I have gout so my pain went away when I quit taking the Move Free for pain relief.
