Unless the glove box is locked. You can get pretty well any key in far enough to release the lock and open the glove box door......before using the cut off wheel.

I am storing a 69 nova for a friend. The car needs all new locks. How the heck do I get the glove box lock out. There are no keys and the outer bezel will turn freely.
The door and ignition locks are pretty easy, but I've never pulled out a glove box lock and don't want to damage anything.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
