Can anyone tell me how to clean the gas stains off an aluminum intake witout removing it? Not sure how they got there but the guy that owned it before me must have had some fuel leakage.

Thanks!

If you light a match when you get finished, it takes care of the dribbles!

If you take some permatex rust disolver gel {very little} and scrub it in with a tooth brush then wash it off with a wet towel and wet tooth brush and it will look fine

When we rebuild race engines we use this on the intakes but not the heads as the heads get cleaned at the machine shop, i do this because i dont like the intake to get dark grey after being glass beaded
