I recently upgraded to an MSD ignition system and at first my car would not turn off. So after installing the small diode I get with the kit, I can now shut the car off but the generator light stayed on while running. When I took the diode back out to double check, the car ran fine and the generator light was off while running but would not turn off again. Any suggestions??
Maybe the alternator/regulator isn't working right. Voltage out of the F terminal should be near equal to voltage out of the back of the alternator (Battery). If the 2 voltages are equal the light goes off.
