Want to personaly thank Gene Chaz from steering me away from a '69 SS clone that had a 396 BB with a Saginaw tranny. Just bought a 1972 SS350 and would like some opinions about getting the Q-jet re-built or go for an after market Holley or Edlebrock carb. My thoughts are that price wise it might come out to a wash. What about performance? I plan on keeping the engine stock and just clean it up some.

is everything matching in the car? Do you wanna keep it that way? some guys swear by it but i personally like the holley double pumpers like a 650 or even a 600 w/ vacuum secondaries would do some good on the 350 …
