i have a 91 gen 5 454 truck motor that i'm putting in my roadster, took the tbi intake off, my question is do i need a special aftermarket or will about any bbc intake work on it?

Any BBC intake,you may like to match the ports,PP,oval,or rectangular.
The only things basically that are different for bolt ons is oil pan,timing cover,and rear seal.
Also,that gets you into different flywheels and flexplates too,from Mark IV to Gens 5&6.

Edelbrock Performer will be peanut port, you should be able to locate one fairly cheap.

You could also just take the aluminum TBI base off and run a q jet.
1991 up Gen Vs didn't have the adapter, they had a TBI only intake. Performer intake would be a good choice.
