I'm trying to hook up the ground wire for the gas tank sending unit on my 66. Does anyone know where on the sending unit it is supposed to attach? The wire has a stab on it but I see no place to stab it into. Thanks

The sending unit ground wire is crimped in place on the outside edge of the ring. Sounds like it broke off.
