Can you still find a gas pedal spring for a 1970 El Camino? I've looked everywhere--maybe nobody even cares if they have one or not. Anyone have some advice? Any help appreciated.

If the spring is the same as a 70 Velle and I assume it is, I got mine from Ground Up just two months ago. Have you checked on their site?

I just got the 2002 OPG catalog - page 71, Part #87A0103, $4.95 for original GM. Same spring for 68-72.
