I'm planning on running a new line from the gas tank to the fuel pump. Any thoughts on what would be the best way to go. 1/2" aluminum? steel braided?

I ran 1/2" aluminum, pain to bend without kinking and hard to fit. I didn't care for the fit/function, so I tore it out and will used braided Aeroquip with AN style fittngs.

More expensive, but easier to install than hard lines.

Same here. Hard lines can look really nice but you have to be very patient or not too picky. I gave up and went with the braided.

Jeff, did you use 1/2" steel braided line. I think steel braided lines with Aeroquip fittings also look good. Thanks for the info

Actually, I haven't run the new line yet, but yes it will be 1/2" braided. I also need to run a 3/8" return line for my Fuel Injection at the same time.
