Hey guys,Ive had my Chevelle out and am doing a little cruising.Friday night I was downtown and when it got dark I turned the headlights on and the gas guage went to almost empty.I had 3/4 of a tank.Is this a short and how does it tie in with my lights. It returns to 3/4 when the lights are turned off. Also It wouldnt start when I was downtown and I had to push start it.When I got home I found my floor mat bunched up under my clutch. What a dumbass.....Mark

Tonight I ran onther ground wire from my headlight switch to the chassis and what a difference it made. 1.My gas guage doesnt fade when the lights are turned on.2.The directional indicaters are brighter.3.Directional indicaters dont flash at the same time like they used to.They used to both flash when the blinker was applied.4The dash lights (Guages) are brighter,They were very weak. I too never realized how important dash grounds are....Thanks again Mark
