Fuel gauge worked until lately it bounced around alot and finally the needle disappeared completed--not full or empty--just gone. New sending unit was installed 5 months ago. I assume it is the gauge. Not a big problem only because I am going to be installing a Dakota Digital system with new dash bezel soon. Any thoughts or opinions that it might not be the gauge?

Was the needle moving very rapidly? If so the limiter inside the gauge probably went bad.
Yes, the needle was moving rapidly. I assumed it was going bad. I'm going to install all new aftermarket gauges pretty soon--along with new wiring. Thanks for the response.....
