I back in so I can everything when driving out...Had to teach my wife to do the same... We live on a Corner so in the lane tough to see cars coming around the corner while backing But always have...
For running up a car parked while door is down. I open the door a little and attach the hoses to the two dryer vents I put in the back wall of the garage to vent the exhaust.
That way I don't expire and lose all my heat from the wood stove either!

Most of the time we drive in with the exception of some maintenance which requires the car/s to be backed in.

daily-drivers in the attached garage - drive in
lift stall in the shop where I do most of the work - drive in

everything else is backed in because I can park them tighter to the wall and closer together.

I like backing in so you can raise the door for extra light when tinkering on the motor. Easy to see what's coming when pulling out also. I too have a couple exhaust holes through the wall for running the engine when inside.

I back my crew cab ram in. It’s easier to see the sides of the vehicle in relationship to the sides of a narrow door.

Drive in on the right, back in on the left. That way the drivers doors are opening in the center where I can give them the most room.
Same here.

And all the parts and holiday junk on the passenger sides.

My Mustang is in storage for the winter but when it’s not I have to back that one in and pull the Chevelle in so I can open the doors. When the Mustang is absent my wife is able to pull in her Accord ( 4door ) and still get out on that side.
I really wish I had a four car garage. I had a chance to add two bays to my existing 2 car about 15 or so years ago. I foolishly let that chance slip away. Not happening now.

i pull both of them straight in for normal everyday use. i will typically back them in if i am doing something substantial to the front to take advantage of the better lighting, and a little more room if needed by opening the door.

Let’s see - motorhome is pulled in straight. Truck & Jeep are backed in. Chevelle is either, depending on which bay it’s in and what I’m doing with it. 2400 sq ft and yes, I could use more!
