I have to plumb for a NOS plate system. I'm trying to figure out what my best option is to keep my car alive with the juice. Right now I have a Holley Blue fuel pump and regulator feeding from the stock tank with a 3/8" pickup in the tank and 1/2" line from the pump to the regulator at the carb. I don't think It'll be able to feed my 396 and a 150 shot of N2O. Here are the options I've been kicking around.

1.One of the shows on Spike TV suggested putting a second fuel cell with it's own fuel pump and regulator in the front of the car as a dedicated fuel system for the N2O.
2. Put my Summit Fuel Cell in the trunk, order another Holley Blue fuel pump and regulator, and plumb that in to feed the N2O system and the motor. The fuel cell has all 1/2" fitting. Can I tee off of that to feed both systems?
3. ???

It's not a dedicated N2O car. I just want to play with fire.

There are a couple of ways that you could do it. You could run a second fuel cell up front with it's own pump and regulator for the nitrous. This way you can run higher octane for the N2O. Or you can upgrade your existing pump to one of say 250 - 300 GPH to support both motor and N2O. I'm sure if you contacted the manufacturer of the Nitrous kit that you have, they will give you their recommendatios as well. With one pump, one fuel tank/cell your saving weight as well. Good luck!

What's the rating on a Holley Blue pump? I feed my 396 witha 125 shot of N2O with a 1/2" line and a 130gph mechanical fuel pump without problems. your fuel line should be OK you just need to upgrade to a 125 gph fuel pump.
If you want to go to 200+ hp on the N2O you will need to get a 1/2" pickup in the tank and a 150 gph fuel pump

I had the same dilemma when I put nitrous on my car. At first I was going to go with a small fuel cell up front with Holley Blue pump and regulator for the nitrous. I decided against that when I realized I would need to cut the car to get the fuel cell to fit.

Ended up going with a 16 gallon cell in the trunk with a Holley Black pump for the motor and a Blue pump for the nitrous. The cell has 2 outlet fittings so there is no need to tee off for the 2 systems. Each system has it's own line, regulator and relay.

I recommend using fuel pressure switches to make sure it doesn't go lean when you spray it.

Ok,
I looked over my fuel cell again and it does have two 1/2" feeds comming out of it, an inlet on top, and a roll over valve on top. My fuel pump is rated at 110gph.

It sounds like it'll be best/easiest if I just put in my fuel cell, another fuel pump, regulator, and filter. Then run the line to the N2O solenoid. One fuel cell and two fuel systems.

I'm racing a guy from work. He has an '06 Mitsubishi EVO MR. I don't want him to ever want to challenge my Chevelle again.
