Hey All,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good fuel pressure regulator? Looking for a non-return/no bypass 0-15 PSI range with a gauge port. Here's the kicker.....it needs to be ethanol capable.... There's a lot of them floating around but not a lot that meet all those requirements.... Looks like most of the Holley ones that I've seen are non ethanol...gas or diesel only variants.

Actually I'd love to just restrict the PSI to around 6 PSI for my Edelbrock 1406 carb but I have never seen such a fuel block varmint....

Also is there such a thing as gas-friendly teflon tape? I generally use Permatex aviation sealer which works with gas....but was thinking, for re-application purposes, another option that isn't so hard to clean up.

I have used a lot of fuel regulators over the years and the Arrowmotive ones are the best hands down. 0 pressure creep.

I recently had the wrong type fitting in my pres reg and caused a leak, it wasn't NPT and DID NOT have a tapered thread, as far as gasoline rated tape Yellow teflon is rated for gas but most people say stay away from tapes, I used Gasoila fuel rated thread sealer after trying Wrong stuff I had in the drawer like High Tack, Permatex 300, Make sure you're using NPT fittings too

Thanks shovelrick....I found some Loctite 592 PETE thread sealant they say works on gas....I've always been suspect of NPT and accidentally getting a regular fitting instead....
