Hey guys, I've been doing my homework on fuel pressure gauges because I'm having a problem with pressure dropping once the motor warms up.

I have narrowed it down to the liquid filled gauge. Just to be safe though, can I trust the gauge when I set the pressure to 6.5 lbs cold? Then I just dont trust it when it drop to 2-3 lbs warm?

I have had the same issue. Test it by pinching the rubber seal on the gauge and see if the pressure changes back to where it was initially set.

The way I solved it was by emptying some of the glycerin from the gauge. It is slightly more than 1/2 of the dial and it works perfectly now.

Remove the gauge and pull the rubber plug and let it drip out onto a rag. If you rip the plug dont worry just clean it up with thinner and put a dab of "the right stuff" over the hole and never worry about it again
