I highly recommend The Right Stuff. All of my cars have their Stainless Brake Lines, Fuel Lines and Transmission Lines. The lines look and fit great. If you go to a car show that they are attending, there is special pricing.

I needed a new carb line for my Holley duel feed and ordered a Chrome one from Jegs. It wouldn't work came out right where one of the heater hoses was and I also didn't like the way the double flare ends were made instead of them being part of the tubing they were a separate piece that looked like they were brazed onto the end of the tubing. I ended up getting a y block setup from the Right Stuff very nice piece more expensive but you get what you pay for.

I intend to go with aluminum fuel line,an fittings, and the dual feed connections for the an fittings.
The $50 connector at the carb being the main expense.
With fuel prices..leaks can be costly as they can be deadly.
No more steel braided or rubber hose..if i can help it.

Which is better: stainless or aluminum?

Both have an issue with vibration so they both must be properly clamped/fixed solid. I read that stainless requires 37* flares and correct fittings but is the most durable. Aluminum is easier to work with but more prone to breakage and rot.

It is a 43 year old car with the original fuel live.
And I have a 30 foot roll of aluminum...
