Question:
I am currently putting together the front suspension on my '66 and it did not come with a front sway bar. I have purchased an OEM sway bar but it did not come with the bolts to mount it to the frame.
Does anyone have the factory bolt type and dimensions?

did you get the bushings with it? and end links?

No, I bought them separtaly from JEGS. I was looking at the build manual for the chevelle and it calls the part out as a screw but does not give specifics.

Bolts are 5/16" x 18, with a 7/16" head. I just got a set from AMK.

5/16" bolts on a sway bar sounds small to me.. newer cars use 3/8" bolts.

agreed, 3 of my originals were broken in the frame, but 5/16" was the correct size in 67.
