i noticed while fitting my new hood the fender extentions seem to be sliding down not staying in proper place?? what is the best way to fix this issue?? just adjust them and retighten? replace the nuts on the backs??? anyone have this problem??? thanx

On my 70, the fenders have two alignment pins sticking out and the fender extensions have two holes in them. This will position the extensions, They can only go in one position. They will sit on the fenders without bolts. Not sure about 71-72 extensions.
