Is there a recommended spring to use when replacing the front end suspension. should we use high performance or factory replacement? thanks

Springs are often subjective because people like to change ride height, improve cornering verses improving drag race launches, etc.

If you're building a pretty much stock Chevelle, I think Moog is common.

All depends on your goal for your car. Cruiser: Moog or equivalent aftermarket replacement. Trying to make it handle? Eibach, Edelbrock, and others on the market will stiffen it up a bit, and lower it a varying degree. Drag racing? Moroso has some springs that will help weight transfer. Any can be used in a different situation, but not work as well as intended.

Hope that made sense.
