i put a new RH fender on and got rid of the plastic inner fender wells and went with steel. now the hood has a slight rub at the back when opening, just minor but i dont want it to rub at all. i have the hood lined up as best i can, fits good; was wondering if it possible to add a washer to the fender bolt hidden behind the door pinch point? hopping that will give me the clearence i need. do i have to take the hood back off when doing this since i will be losening the bolts under the hood near the hinge? can i just loosen the nearby bolts, ad my spacer washer, which should push the fender out a 1/8th" and be good? appricate any advice from someone who has done this. getting a cowl hood soon and working on new paint this summer, thx. John.
