front and rear window molding clips

My 72 chevelle did not have the trim clips on the front windshild and rear window when i got it. I see that there are several different clips available. How do i know which clip to use?

I used these for both the front and rear glass stainless trim on my 72.

If I remember correctly, there are 6 across the top 8 across the bottom, and 3 on each side.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
