THE JOB - URINE TEST
(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)

Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So, here is my Question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass - doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money each state

would save if people had to pass a urine test to ge t a public assistance check?

I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though. Something has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!!!

you know, beaux struck me with something he said the other day, and i concur. we recently had a medical expositon type thing in l.a. anybody who needed something done, from physical's to tooth repair, could come down and get it done.

now these were supposed to be poor people, and some were, a single mother who just lost both of her jobs. but what struck me was, these people couldn't afford insurance, but every one of them had a cell phone. i don't know much about them, because i don't own one, but last i heard, they weren't free.

like beaux said, priorities... like when your watching cops, and the guy has no d.l. insurance card, and unpaid tickets, but a couple grand of blow in his pocket, that he didn't know how it got there....
so... 30,000 battered women showed to this thing? i understand what you guys are saying, it's just every time i see a news story about people lined up to get something or other, they have cell phones hanging from thier face. i see a guy driving a car with three space saver tires on it, but he's got a cell phone. seems like no matter how bad people are off, they seem to have $ for drugs or some other item they don't need.....
