you know, beaux struck me with something he said the other day, and i concur. we recently had a medical expositon type thing in l.a. anybody who needed something done, from physical's to tooth repair, could come down and get it done.
now these were supposed to be poor people, and some were, a single mother who just lost both of her jobs. but what struck me was, these people couldn't afford insurance, but every one of them had a cell phone. i don't know much about them, because i don't own one, but last i heard, they weren't free.
like beaux said, priorities... like when your watching cops, and the guy has no d.l. insurance card, and unpaid tickets, but a couple grand of blow in his pocket, that he didn't know how it got there....
