FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY at WORLD FAMOUS Bremerton Raceway!!!!
George's budget big block- 3 years in the making will finnaly make a run against Rambo's car!!! (which unfortunatly, no longer has the motor georges was built to compete against)

If goerge can't wipe the floor against the Gutlass with its 330/3spd combo, some serious ragging will be due
:p :D

anyway, weather is looking good for tomorrow sposed to be 70 and sunny all afternoon- I think george said he was going to come out- EricW is bringing his 66 to see what the new cam, head, ignition, carb, (hell the whole top of the engine) will do vs Chad's best times... and i'll be there with the Gutlass rowing the big 3 speed to "hopefully" a 15 second pass

Anyway, hope a few others can swing out and say hey... Otherwise, see you guys at the BBQ next week!

I still plan to make several passes. Next week look impossible on FRIDAY.

I am sure the Cutlass will do fine. If you get a good launch, it may surprise you.
IIRC, the 330 is more of a torque engine so you may wanna shift at 5000

Am wondering what Erik's car will do....can he best Chad, raise the bar before Chad makes his next outing?Or will he have to treat Chad to lunch again?

You could dig out the ol Rat Trophy and bring it down....or maybe bring it to the BBQ for a presentation in front of the cheering masses

His car is night and day different from his last track pass...
I think he and chad would be within a .010 of each other.
Since the nitrous setup chad has is really on loan from Eric, i think NA vs NA is the only way to compare them.

as for the olds... I'm not expecting much.
Best run before was a 16.6, but that was with me spinning off the line (i did a 5k dump clutch launch) but it was with the carb backfiring hard and me letting off.
All my other runs were worse with backfires and crappy launches.

Now that my carb, fuel pump & filters have all been replaced, plus a little more seat time playing iwth the stick i think i'll do ok with it- but not expecting much better than a mid to low 15 second pass out of it.

I can't complain too much though, its be a great reliable daily driver for most of the summer- so i won't be disapointed if i won't beat yours(at least not this year)

If I know you SEATTLE guys, Rambo is probably sporting a 100 SHOT on the Gutless Cutlass.
