Hey guys, found this 71 Chevelle it seems over in Florida, but I can't read the plate in the window due to the fact they covered the dash with that Gooche stuff, but plate is still there. But, under the hood on the plate on the corner of drivers side hood hinge, I see: 8114637 R 4627. what do the #'s mean? Can someone decode them, and it has SS 396 Badges. Thanks for your help!!!!!

A 71 SS should not have any emblems saying 396 on it. If it were a 454 car it would have the SS and a 454 emblem on the front fenders.
