How can I tell the difference in 10 and 11" parts. 11" flywheels are 14"dia. How do you know if you have an internal balanced of external balanced part? On bellhousing units what is the difference in the 10 and 11" parts. Someone said the 11" housing is different where the starter nose is. I have found several parts but have no way of knowning what applications they fit. If you can help decode the parts it would be appreciated.

Here are the # off of the fly wheels, they are used

Don....Bellhousing 3899621 is for an 11 inch clutch setup. I don't know about the other numbers.

3899621 is the only one that works with the muncie trans and the 14" flywheel. Just had to find one for my Camaro with a 406 SB. Got a clean used one for $65.

Thanks guys. I can pick this one up for $50 so is sounds like what I need for my 427 muncie swap. I wish I knew how to ID the flywheels by looking at them.
