Has anyone installed the #1041 three inch pipe kit on a 66 or 67 Chevelle.
I have a 66 with a 454 and Hooker Super Comp. Headers, I currently have 2.5 exhaust but it was a hand me down system from my son's 65 and it has cut-outs . I want to install a clean 3 inch system with new mufflers(I will get those separately) that will exit behind the rear wheels. I will be buying new 3 inch collectors and want the system from there back. Has anyone has serious fitment issues. Also when using a cross over pipe will that create a problem the next time I have to drop the 4-speed or change the clutch?
