Hello, I pulled all the chrome trim off the outside of my 1965 Chevelle. But I need some opinions on if my trim is savable. Some pieces have deeper scratches.

It's stainless, not chrome. If you cant handle the job yourself, don't have the skills or equipment then send it to a polisher. Looks like some backyard idiot sanded the sh!t out of it. I would not have done that when I was 14 years old building cars.

It’s stainless. A soft but hard metal. It’s not going to polish out. You could sand it out, probably start out about 600 or 800 wet and see how it cleans it up and finish off at 3500 or 5000 wet depending on what your after. At the 3500 or 5000 it’s already in a polished state. Otherwise send it out to a refinisher.
