finned rotors? | Team Chevelle

on my 1969 chevelle somone put brand new rear brakes on it and they used finned rotors. is this correct for 1969?

Not that I am aware of. My 69 had all its original brake system on it and they were not finned.

finned drums, to better dissipate heat in the rear brakes, a good thing, somewhat heavier, but better.

Are they iron or aluminum?

they are cast iron
