$500 for brand new wheels you wanted - now THAT's the steal of the day! I remember building models of cars that looked like that pic. Also it reminds me of the car that got me into Chevelles. A guy who was about 5 years older than me had a 67' Malibu that was red w/primer. He ran fat Cragars in the back, skinny in the front, Thrush pipes, and had BB front springs with a 327 so it sat a little high. It wasn't a beautiful car but it sure looked damn tough! When I got my 66' in high school, I made mine a close copy of his and I was all smiles.
