I just bought a used 99 Suburban. The alarm is faulty, and is triggered every time a door opens, or you get too close to the vehicle. The locks are faulty too. I would like to by pass this system. Can anyone tell me how to do this or where to find some info on how to do this? Any help will be appreciated. Let me know if you need any more vehicle info to answer this question. TIA, Kevin

Almost sounds like this is an after-market system that was installed. Didn't think that Chevy incorporated proximity sensors (too close to the vehicle) in the Suburban.

Kevin look up under the dash or behind the Driver kick panel for the alarm Brain box usually good alarms are labeled by their MFG with a number to contact them
