there are two car shows locally, this weekend. one on sunday. i've been busting my butt to get the elky finished for, and one i've been waiting for for months. the primer nationals are just up the road this weekend. i read in the paper, that all these rock a billy bands have landed in ventura california, not only for the show, but to play at all the local bars and restaurants, i'm totally stoked, then grandma calls and tells me, some cousin's (i haven't seen in 30 years), thier spouce's, my mom, an aunt, and my grandma, all want to b.b.q. of course saturday..........i still might go up early and try to catch a little of it. this area, is hot this weekend. the primer nationals, the roamin relics show, two area air shows, and several benefit concerts. and i think mr. bush is here for something going on at the, regan library, socal is hoppin.......

My mother in law just did this two weekends ago. Her 90 something year old uncle wanted her to come see him, she had said earlier she would. Well the day came and she came down with something, uh huh. The very next morning he passed away.

Hows that for a guilt trip!

actually, it will be, catching a little car show, before i cook for everybody. one of my buddies kids, he's 8, just discoverd cars, so i think i'll snatch him up early, and blast up on the harley, catch a few cars, drop him off, run home, get all the meat ready, feed everybody, kick everybody out by 10:00, so i can get up at 5 on sunday, to make the local show....and did i tell you? my buddy lance is bringing over quail. i love b.b.q. quail, heck i'd eat quial almost anyway, but raw.....
