Well my wheels are out of Powdercoat and I got to say, I couldn't be happier. They just look fantastic. The pics just don't do them justice.
I wanted the factory look. I surfed the net trying to get the correct paint. So I bought it. Posted it in the classifieds BTW. I was torn between factory stock look or some Cragar S/S's. I looked at several powdercoaters trying to find the right color. But Cragar's look great on a Black car too. What to do!?
I walked into Glendale Powdercoat in AZ, Bam...They had 1 wheel in their little lobby area. I knew that is what I wanted. I know its nothing like factory, but they will look great on my car. Its a color of theirs and they use a 2 coat process. The guys their are great. They drive a 69 Chevelle and a 66 Nova. It is getting close to being finished. Shooting for the end of the year.

Mike, they look great! And thanks for the info about Glendale Powdercoating. I've been looking for a reputable place in the area.

They look great Mike. What color is it actually?
Wow, Roger71 look at that post count.
I'm not sure what color they call it. I will ask them on Monday. It is definitely a darker silver/gray. My wife went and picked them up for me during her lunch hour. So I haven't spoken to them since picking them up. I am planning on giving them a call on Monday to give them my review anyway.

I saw them do something like that on Wheeler Dealers, they put down a dark grey over chrome silver. Maybe on the new episode for a Aston Martin DB7...

I talked to them. It is an exclusive color. They just call it GR 3800. He did say it is close to Gunmetal gray.
I believe he is a forum member so maybe he will chime in.
